So about this unhinged president thing

In my opinion, far too many journalists will not use the word "insane."

However, when you have a man who obviously sees himself as the center of humanity; a man who believes the reality of whatever he says at the moment; a man who feels he must attack anyone and everyone who has insulted him, or doesn't believe in his "greatness;" and a man who believes he is absolutely right about everything, always, there really is only one word you can use to define him.

This man is Insane by any definitions of the word.

It's way past time for most Americans to avoid using that word.

He's insane. In a different era, he would have been taken away in a straight jacket and placed in a high security area of a mental facility.

However, our society defines only the poor as "insane." The rich, who publicly show the same traits, are called "eccentric."

So here we are. We have an "eccentric" president, (who every Republican in congress knows he's insane)., "leading" America.

So let me say this in all sincerity. "OY."

If you can find a better way of defining it, or perhaps solving this unprecedented American dilemma, let's hear it. Please, please, let's hear it before his insanity destroys us.

And, oh yeah. I forgot to mention that his name is Donald Trump.

I don't agree that in previous ages he'd be labeled insane. hedda_foil Jan 2017 #2

I'd guess that if Hillary had said 30% of the things Chump said while campaigning, we'd have heard the words "insane" and "crazy" long ago.

Is there a solution? Not when the media is enthralled with the ratings over all else, not to mention the significant numbers of racists, mysogynists, white supremacists, and people just itching for a fight who live among us.

For most of human histrionics, people have been ruled by strongman/kings whose word was law because he was considered to have a private connection to God or the gods... and disobedience was punishable by death. Trumpolini would fit right in. He'd also be dead by 50, especially because kings were expected to lead their armies in battle and with his ego, he'd be fighting all the neighboring countries to rule them too.

Whatever people call "insanity" changes with time.

But at this time, is this place, Donald Trump is a man who cold actually launch a nuclear attack.

So use whatever definition of insanity you please. But no matter how your twist, define, or spin it, anyone who would launch a nuclear attack is insane by anyone's definition of the word.
