Haven't seen this posted - Trump's new FCC Chairman is on record opposing Net Neutrality.

TRUMP’S NEW F.C.C. CHAIR WANTS TO END NET NEUTRALITY

Pesident Donald Trump has said that rolling back regulations on business will be one of his first priorities in the White House, and net neutrality is no exception. On Monday, Federal Communications commissioner Ajit Pai, who has opposed Internet regulations, confirmed that he’d been elevated by Trump to serve as chairman. “There is so much we can do together to bring the benefits of the digital age to all Americans and to promote innovation and investment,” Pai said on Twitter. “From broadband to broadcast, I believe in a 21st-century version of Jefferson's 2nd Inaugural: we are all Republicans, we are all Democrats.”

Even before Trump’s inauguration last week, it was assumed that change was coming to the F.C.C. Under the presidency of Barack Obama and the leadership of F.C.C. chair Tom Wheeler, the federal agency took steps to ensure an open and free Internet by requiring service providers to treat all data equally. Ten days before Trump’s inauguration, the F.C.C. released a report warning that Verizon and AT&T may be in violation of current net neutrality rules, privileging their own streaming services over those of their competitors. But it was too late to have any impact before the Trump presidency, a sort of last-chance stab at putting the two telecom giants in their place. In a statement, Pai derided the effort as a “regulatory spasm” that “will not have any impact on the commission’s policymaking or enforcement activities following next week’s inauguration.”

Without Net Neutrality, Trump can pressure providers to give preferential treatment to outlets that agree with him and but the breaks on outlets that piss him off. Imagine it taking DU or Huffington or WaPo 10-15 min to load or to refresh, while Brietbart loads in 10-15 seconds.

I'm beginning to wonder if we can stop Trump and the GOP (Grand Oligarchy Party) quickly enough to preserve our country.
