You can't make another sovereign nation pay for something it doesn't agree to. In addition, he pointed out that Drumpf would NEVER proceed with a business deal on the same terms: financing something up front based on the presumption of reimbursement later. Recipe for DISASTER (one of Drumpf's favorite words).

for the many products we export to that country. That puts American jobs in jeopardy.

Trump is going to intentionally damage the US economy just so he can say, "See? Mexico is paying for the wall, people."
