They want us to blindly pledge allegiance to anyone with a (d) next to their name. Doesn't matter how they vote, because the other side is so horrible.

They want us to support whomever the Party Leaders select as their preferred candidate for open seats. Primaries are to be preordained contests. God help those who try to upset that applecart.

Doesn't sound very different from the other side.

How the hell do things get better if we aren't allowed to express our discontent? If we aren't allowed to pressure those who betray principles we hold dear? Are things really so bad that we must blindly trust those leaders who have failed us so often?

I guess they want to be seen as the "reasonable" politicians, but after eight years of republicans stonewalling everything?

Fuck that.

None of these cabinet positions need democratic support.
