The Right-Wing Suddenly Has Alzheimer's.

At other forums (Quora), they're saying they don't remember people going crazy when Obama was inaugurated. It's unbelievable. Here's my response to one such delusional question:

Why are people being so crazy since Trump was elected?
Obama was quite a bit to digest, especially after being reelected, but people didn't go nuts like they are now.

Except George W Bush did lie and get us into war. Sorry, but you can't revise history even with your “alternative facts.”

And yeah, people were going nuts protesting over taxes, when they didn't go up one cent, and protesting gun control even though he hadn't done anything about guns to that point, well actually yeah, he did: he loosened gun restrictions in national parks.

Racist signs everywhere. People bringing assault rifles to his speeches. Countless death threats. Effigies of him hanging from a noose. Questioning his citizenship, his religion - and no, your middle name or who your grandfather was does not define your religion, shutting down government and blackmailing him to get what they want, yelling at him to “get government out of their Medicare,” accusations of death panels, internment camps, screaming, “You lie!” during The State of the Union Address, etc. This is just things off the top of my head.

It's like the right-wing takes things they've actually done, and then accuses the left of doing those very same things.

It's like reality didn't exist when Obama was inaugurated, or everyone on the right suddenly has Alzheimer's. I'm beginning to think that being conservative is a disease with neurological symptoms that mimics being senile.

...it feels good to provide a response to their fake and absurd questions.

I think and hope that the Left unites and destroys Trump's presidency.

I'm livid right now. I can't help it, but I hate these people. I don't want to hate anyone, but the trolling and conveniently forgotten facts, the gas-lighting, the playing stupid, the playing victim, the projection, just furthers my resolve to take them down.

Tell them that you're going to support House Resolution 621.

It's a bill introduce by Republican Jason Chaffetz to auction or give away 3.3 million acres of public lands, lands that hunters and fishermen use for their sport. With it being sold, they'll more than likely either be denied access to those lands or have to pay fees, including in former national parks. Also, the bill allows for the lands to be converted, so strip mined or logged, for instance. Yes, national parks too. Everything considered public land would be deemed to have no value.

You don't have to be serious, but the more you act it up in the same way they are vindictive towards you, you might have some fun with it. Make yourself smile for a few minutes.

when they were determined to make Obama a one-term president in 2009, questioning his legitimacy and patriotism. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds!

I'm sorry, but this is what you get when you (Democrats) want to pay nice all the time. Now these suddenly senile reactionaries are playing the victim, while being bullies at the sometime.

Something has got to be done.

There wasn't the largest march in US history to show people's opposition to him. There weren't alt-twitter accounts set up by US agencies to get info out. There weren't web-sites popping up all over the place to teach people how to effectively oppose him, his party, and his agenda. There wasn't a group of over a 1,000 attorneys created to oppose him. There weren't leaders of foreign countries voicing their concerns about him. Wonder why? Could it be he wasn't bat shit crazy and a threat to our democracy and the rest of the world? Maybe, it's because there weren't that many who opposed him.

if Hillary Clinton won the election without the popular vote with assistance from Russia hacking into the RNC and trying to swat the election in her favor.

They would absolutely be going apeshit.

What gets me is they said it was impossible to criticize Obama without being accused of racism.

Bullshit! I had a lot of legitimate criticism of his policies, but never under the color of racism. Things like taking the Public Option off the table, not speaking with single-payer advocates, TPP legitimate policy criticism. But their arguments were so devoid of logic and reason, that there was no other conclusion that they hated him because of the color of his skin.

So, they play victim when we call them out on it. That's what infuriates me the most. Is they think I'm stupid, and can't see through their little charade.

It insults my intelligence, and now they want to compare how Trump is being treated with how Obama was treated? They can go fuck themselves if they think I'm going to get baited like that.

I'm usually a calm guy, but this election has really shaken me. And now I have to not only deal with his fascist supporters, but with a reckless fascist regime, as well.

As the saying goes, "I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

We wouldn't let him drive a car that could hurt innocent people. Because we were responsible American citizens.

The Trump kids have given their dad the keys to the biggest, baddest, most powerful vehicle in the world: the U.S. government. If he drives it over a cliff, the Trump kids are responsible. They bear the blame, for letting their demented father unleash death and destruction on innocent people.
