Trudeau says Canada will take refugees banned by U.S.

TORONTO –€” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has a message for refugees rejected by U.S. President Donald Trump: Canada will take you.

He also intends to talk to Trump about the success of Canada’s refugee policy.

Trudeau reacted to Trump’s ban of Muslims from certain countries by tweeting Saturday: “To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada.”

Trudeau also posted a picture of him greeting a Syrian child at Toronto’s airport in late 2015. Trudeau oversaw the arrival of more than 39,000 Syrian refugees soon after he was elected.

Very cruel for America to turn away refugees who have already gone through long vetting process and been approved for US residency.

The only restriction was they not fight with the indigenous tribes. But the Canada winters were too unfriendly.

Why are the US and Americans so weak and afraid, in relative terms to Canada and Canadians?

As posted under another thread:

things are escalating very quickly. Justin Treadou is kindly welcoming influx of refugees and possibly others who are denied US entry?

Unfortunately, it is a no-win situation and was likey predicated by Bannon. Massive influx of refugees will quickly activate a movement against current governemnt 'establishment'. Look at propaganda, Justin is being hammered by right wing news outlets. Any accident in Canada blamed on refugees will change your country political landscape VERY quickly.

Be vigilant of any backlash and keep track of facts.
