I noticed this in the Guardian's live coverage:
Wondering if your senator backs or criticizes the travel ban executive order?
This Google document shows listssenators alphabetically, noting whether they have opposed or remained silent to the ban, any link or public statement about it and the dates they will be up for re-election.
It also includes contact information, such as their office address, phone number and online contact details.
The document shows, for example, Senator Jeff Flake from Arizona, a Republican, has spoken out publicly against the ban, while Senator Jon Tester, a Democrat from Montana, has made no statement.

(5,024 posts)I have already contact Flake to oppose Sessions (by phone, spoke to a real person, and requested a response). I just emailed both McCain and Flake and thanked them for opposing the ban. I don't have much hope

(1 post)Hi, thank you for this chart. I hate to ask a dumb question but what does the "silent " response mean? I'm in CA and although our Gov has publicly denounced the ban, it appears he is officially silent. I'm trying to figure out what to say when I call tomorrow but a bit confused.
Thanks!

(12,232 posts)Statements for inclusion and against the idea of such bans before. I would guess stthetime of the last update of the chart, he had not yet directly addressed this specific ban.
Welcome to DU!

(5,762 posts)He is a blot on the party. Either he starts acting like a Democrat, or changes his party affiliation. There's no wiggle room here. If he's going to caucus with the enemy, he needs to wear their brand.
