Reporters to Romney "You're not answering-You're refusing to give us an answer."

Mitt Romney sends spokesman to back of plane to refuse to answer question

QUESTION: Is it fair to say that he has no opinion on the Arizona law?

GORKA: "Look, again, I¹ll say it again and again and again for you. The governor understands that states have their own right to craft policies to secure their own borders and to address illegal immigration."

QUESTION: You're not answering – what does he think about the policy in Arizona? Is it fair to say he has no opinion? You're refusing to give us an answer.

GORKA: "Arizona, like many other states in this nation, take it upon themselves to craft policies for their own specific states. Governor has said repeatedly that states are a laboratory of democracy, what one state crafts may not work in others but ultimately this, again, goes back to the president failing to deliver on his campaign promises. As candidate Obama, he said he would address immigration in the first year and hasn’t and instead put in a stopgap measure four and a half months before the election."

I realize that's not Romney himself, but if that's the best kind of tap dancing his crew can do, and is indicative of the kind of responses Obama can expect during the debates, it will be a massacre. Obama will eviscerate him.

They tried to peg Kerry as a flip-flopper in 2004. What will they call someone who never had an original position to flip or flop on?

Let's hope so. The Mittster is doing his damndest not to give the president anymore "corporations are people" soundbites. But each time he speaks off the cuff, he just can't help himself.

...STOP COVERING THE BASTARD. COMPLETELY.

Let him be the only one who has to listen to his lies and BS. If he wants media coverage, well he's got money, let him buy his publicity like he has for everything else he's ''achieved'' in life. I know, I know -- you barely have much more ethics than he has. And no guts.

- Please return your news-gathering capabilities to its useless and upright whining positions.....

you'd have legs to stand on... but if the Media did as you asked and something major breaks in the Romney world, you will scream since nobody covered him.

I know, I know... but what the reporters did right that WAS THEIR JOB, when they actually did NOT throw a nerf ball, or even a soft ball.

...I'd get over it. The only thing I might be PO'd about is if they find out he has two more wives or something like that.

Or maybe if they find out that he was actually born in Mexico and they have the birth certificates to prove it:

I'm wondering how Mitt's dad was able to run for president in 1968 with no one questioning his birth certificate.

But, hey, this whole "birther" thing isn't racist. if it's needed.

It's absolutely bizarre. Is this the way those who aspire to the highest office of the land act?
I've wasted too much precious time being worried, stressed, and frightened and all it did was poison the quality of life. I have found that humor (even if it's gallows humor) is far better. I do take it seriously, but I'd be a basket case if I allowed it to ruin my life. Humor is all we've got.

I think that humor can provide us with a sense of perspective, and that it can offer those of us who may be susceptible to panic or depression a means of coping. Laughter is a well-known coping mechanism and it is actually good for you because it gets your endorphins going, as well as getting your cardiovascular system a workout (if you can produce some strong belly-laughs). All of which empowers us to keep the faith, stick to our principles, and move determinedly forward.

-chronic stress starves our brains of oxygen and dumbs us down--and laughing pushes blood into the brain. This is why comedians are geniuses, right? Watch there will be a billion dollar study proving this!

It would be nice if this represented a turning point in the coverage of this campaign, but I'm not holding my breath. So far the mainstream media has been pro-Romney in its coverage (the Pew Research Center survey last month showed media coverage in the first part of the year has been twice as positive for Romney than Obama).

The media has done very little to call Romney out on his lies, changes of positions and refusal to say what programs he would cut, what his position is on immigration (he flat-out refused last week to say whether he would reverse Obama's executive order).

And there's been virtually no coverage of the fact that Romney, who had the gall to question Obama and Carter's patriotism and military commitment, was a pro-Vietnam War draft dodger who hid out in France for 3 years during the Vietnam War.

This is why the only TV appearances he will make is on Faux.
