Teen Lesbian Couple Found Shot in Park

PORTLAND, Texas -- One teenage girl is dead and another in serious condition after being found with gunshot wounds to the head in a park.

Mollie Judith Olgin, 19, and Mary Christine Chapa, 18, were found in knee-deep grass in a park in Portland by a couple early Saturday, the Corpus Christi Caller Times said.

Olgin died of her wound while Chapa is listed in serious but stable condition after undergoing emergency surgery.

Bullet casings were found next to the women, though police said they didn't find a gun.

I find it disturbing that people make "ASSumptions" about WHY this happened without any facts.

if people didn't make assumptions no one would be talking. I find it disturbing that an attack on assumptions comes without showing any concern for the victims.

I hope the surviving girl makes it and returns to full health, and the perpetrators are caught, regardless of the reasons for the attack.

What else can you say, goddamnit? This country makes too many of these martyrs and that should be a warning that we are in serious trouble. 18... 19 years old. Those are just kids. Someone's putting holes in the heads of kids because they see 'em kissing. Fuck what you see in the horror movies, there's your monster.
