Police beat black man for carrying a gun

They didn't believe him when he said he had a permit to carry. They stopped beating him after one officer found his permit in his wallet.

I think he should have been stopped. Everything after him saying he had a permit needs to subject police to severe discipline. I'm assuming he was not drinking with a gun.

but to proceed to beat the guy after he says he has a gun and a permit to carry it is inexcusable. Would they have done the same to a white guy?
