I need to tattoo that somewhere so that I never forget it. I was mistakenly under the impression that the Seals were not freelancers, and did not undertake missions without an order. But apparently, according to Meg, I was wrong. The Seals called President Obama and said.. "hey, get on Skype! we have something to show you!" and proceeded to get OBL. Uh huh.

Of course none of us can FORGET that moment when President Obama put on that flight suit and parachuted down onto that aircraft carrier, and announced the killing of OBL and the end of the Iraq War, beneath the banner of "Mission Accomplished by Anyone But Me." Ah.. what a photo op that was.

Her lack of real knowledge on Russia and her slaughter of the Russian language, was a source of comic relief for both her Russian counterparts, Embassy personnel and ex-pats. who were invited to dinners/meetings. My daughter said she was actually an embarrassment to US, but she did provide a common ground for Russian and US ex-pats to talk and educate each other.e

Do you all remember that? Dick and Condi decided to shelve that report, even though it said quite clearly that Americans would be attacked on our soil. It had recommendations like establishing a Dept of Homeland Defense, going after AQ, and OBL. But Cheney and Condi decided to put the report ASIDE and come up with their OWN plan... at some point in the future. They were so hellbent on attacking Iraq that is all they focused on. The failed us. And then ALL of them had the audacity to use 9/11 in all of the subsequent elections as a scare tactic, and used their lame response to it (photo ops and attacking Iraq) as some sort of badge of honor.

She really thinks that their foreign policy worked??? Sheesh. We're out of Iraq, we have a timetable for Afghanistan, OBL is dead, AQ is withering, and we've stopped many plots on our soil WITHOUT that ridiculous color coded political tool.
