(21,182 posts)A senior from New York who met him in the 90's. My boss told me she was a chump supporter beforehand. She sneered at Chuck Shumer tearing up about the Muslim ban. I had to do my job and I kept my mouth shut. After 2 days I feel sorry for her. She just brought into the bullshit iof chump. Likes 60 million Americans in strategic electoral states with republican Secretaries of State who were able to use voter suppression methods under current law.

(5 posts)Imagine what it's like to know that this madman holds my sons life in those tiny hands! I don't sleep anymore, but I am working my fingers raw, calling my rep's every day,and just started knitting my hat today! I live in the mountains of N.C. And will be marching in Asheville from now on!

(3,784 posts)If I voted for a guy who did the things President Clusterfuck has done, I would immediately admit I made a mistake. But no Drumpf voter I know is doing that. Every one of them is strutting around BRAGGING about the things he's doing and talking about what a great job he's doing. It's a cult now, and they won't dare question anything "Fearless Leader" does. It really is frightening. And more than that, they are incredulous that the rest of us can't see the brilliance of it and won't get on board and support everything he's doing.
I wasn't alive during Jonestown, and I've often wondered how any person could convince ANYONE, let alone a large group, to do things that extreme. I'm seeing a lot of full-fledged would-be Jonestowners walking around right now.
