From a friend on Facebook about 'Trump World'

Last edited Fri Feb 3, 2017, 08:04 PM - Edit history (1)

"This is an argument I'm seeing more and more from the right as Trump's psychoses continue to unfold and roll our country under:

TRUMP SUPPORTER: "This is Trump world now. You better get used to it. And if you don't like it, move!"

So this is how I've decided to respond: "As a citizen, it is my patriotic duty--not choice, but *duty*--to stand against tyrannical decrees that are in direct opposition to the Constitution. If you are unhappy with living in a democratic republic and would prefer the laws and mores of a Third World dictatorship, there are plenty out there to choose from. YOU move."

I'm tired of these people thinking this is *their* country and they're somehow more deserving of a space in America than I am. They are not, as they've been proving over and over again, some salt of the earth chosen people. They are not Christians, even if they may claim to be. Christians follow the teachings of Christ and try to emulate Him. These people don't even listen to their own Pope. Which should be beside the point, because we are *not* a Christian nation, no matter how much they want to pretend we should be. The Founding Fathers they all pretend to revere made sure of that. If someone wants or needs to be ruled by a religion, that's called a theocracy. We don't have one of those here, and the wants and needs of those who wish we did are not more important than their fellow citizens'. Yes--FELLOW CITIZENS.

I was told just this morning that if you didn't count New York and California, Trump would have won the popular vote. As though the people living in those places somehow shouldn't count.

Bigots are not more American than I am. They can shoot all the guns they want, eat all the apple pie, sing all the Toby Keith songs--if they don't believe in the Constitution except as a piece of paper they've never read but think they can wave in my face every time I use my rights to say something they don't like, they are not more American than I am.

And I'm tired of people giving me arguments from the KKK manifesto and pretending it has nothing to do with skin color or culture or orientation or whatever else they try to pretend not to disdain and hate. You elected a Mussolini wannabe. He said racist/sexist/homphobic/xenophobic things right out loud, and you said "okay" and pulled that lever. You were okay with voting away people's rights. You were okay with every single unconstitutional thing he proposed, and even if you weren't, you didn't care enough about the people who would be hurt because you *still* pulled that lever. If you're going to repeat White Supremacist rhetoric to defend your choice, at least acknowledge where it came from and fucking OWN it. And then YOU move."

Share at will.

This is the single biggest problem I have with tRump supporters and Hillary Clinton haters. They are selfish, self-centered, motherf-ing schadenfreude haters of what other people have. And they're so blinded by their absolutionistic hating ways, they cannot find inclusion in bettering someone else's life equally.

She was positively gleeful because "I'm a Trump supporter because I'm a small business owner and he's going to lower my income tax rate from 35% to 15%."

So if she's been paying 35%, that means her taxable income is over $416,700 (assuming she's single) and she thinks she pay the same tax rate as someone making $37950.

Excuse me but FUCK HER!

Opposing trump is no longer political! It is about the survival of democracy and everything our fathers, grandfather's and uncles fought and died for. We owe it to them to preserve this nation and not allow a fascist regime to destroy in a few short weeks what took more than 200 years to build.
You can't be a patriot or a Christian if you support the hate filled actions coming from the trump white house.

It needs to be said. The KKK thinks that they are "Christians". The "right" claim the founders were Christians. Some were, some just Masons, all just people. US & THEM. If you think THEM are the problem look in the mirror. If the person in the mirror is "Christian" then it is time to realize. Forgive those who trespass. How would you like to be treated?
Misspellings like Jehovah & Allah, are small trangressions easily forgiven by a merciful God. Have you no compassion for those who have no faith?
The new "President" has given us the priceless gift of showing us where that Wide Gate is. Rejoice, you are not the rich man. Neither a camel, nor an oragatange can pass through the eye of a needle. This man, more so, than any person I have encountered in this life, has gained the world and lost his soul. Watch closely, he is a Master of
Deception and is turning brother against brother.

They enjoy Social Security, Medicare, and the ACA, all things liberals fought for. They get to have clean air and water and workplace safety because liberals battled Republicans and won these for everyone. So instead of just take, take take and troll troll troll, why don't THEY make a contribution?
