Why can't Sheriff Joe Arpaio be arrested?

It seems there should be any number of charges facing Arizona's tin horn dictator. Civil rights violations, interfering with federal law enforcement, etc

It would absolutely make my day to see this asshole lead off in cuffs by US Marshalls

been investigated more times than you can imagine. He keeps his sheets very clean. The only way you get rid of him is find someone who can beat him in an election or he retires. For some reason not entirely clear he is very popular here in Arizona.

Not that he's a good guy, he isn't. But i don't know if he's done anything, however objectionable, that requires him to be arrested.

There is nothing to arrest him over ... Racial Profiling is not a criminal offense and his actions in relation to the DoJ are not criminal, either.

Now that said, there are plenty of things that are arguably civil violations ... but it appears the good citizens of Maricopa County aren't concerned with the County's legal defense fund balance.

If he hasn't done anything illegal why has he been under FBI investigation for the last several years?

does not mean you are guilty of anything. Just about every politician in Washington has been investigated at one time or another....hell, the FBI probably has a file on you.
