Canadians - they are everywhere!!

I live in Arizona and I can tell you around November they invade our state.
They stay here for the winter. Winters are beautiful in Arizona.

The traffic on our freeways becomes ridiculous.

The majority of these snowbirds are senior citizens. Some of them may end up going to our doctors and hospitals making the waiting time ridiculously long.

Everywhere I go in the winter, I see Canadian license plates. On RVs. On SUVs.

I know for a fact that they buy guns in the US, as I personally know a Canadian that has.

So Jan Brewer, what I want to know is why you aren't worried that some of these Canadians may be in Arizona illegally???

Why do you & Sheriff Joe only care about the people that come from our Southern Border, but not from our Northern Border??

How can anyone take you seriously when you only care about one of the borders of the United States, but not the other three???

Jan Brewer, you make me ashamed to be from Arizona.

And know what you write to be true.

At the risk of being accused of making fantasy-based, talking point stories ... again ...

I'm reminded of an encounter with the Border Patrol:

It was a Thursday afternoon. A group of us went across the Nogales line to eat at what had become our favorite restaurant ... it is within short walking distance from the border, so we can park on the U.S. side of the border; it has great food in ample portions; it is cheap; and most importantly, they served free Tequila with every eat in order!

There were 5 of us, all under the age of 30. There were 2 caucasians (1 male/1 female), 2 Hispanics males, and me.

Well, after eating and several shots, we headed back to Tucson. Just outside of Rio Rico, at the Border Patrol Checkpoint, we were pulled over for additional inspection ... our thought was we were flagged due to the obvious intoxicated state of 4 of us (yes, the one sober one was our designated driver).

They Agents had us exit the vehicle and separated us and began their questioning:

"Are you a U.S. Citizen?"
"Where are you headed?"
"Where are you coming from?"
"What restaurant did you eat (and drink) at?"
"Is there anything in the car that you would like to declare?"

After about 20 minutes, we were allowed to go on our way. As we talked about our experience, we found out that all of us had been asked the same (type of) questions ... except the Blonde haired, Blue eyed, Ivory skinned female ... she was asked all the questions except the first one ... was she a U.S. Citizen.

The funny thing was this Blonde haired, Blue eyed, Ivory skinned female was the only undocumented person in the car.

This SB 1070 thing is gonna lead to another lawsuit, that the state of Arizona is gonna lose.
