https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/04/us/james-robart-judge-trump-ban-seattle.htmlThe federal judge who blocked President Trumps immigration order is described by former colleagues and acquaintances as a mainstream Republican who went from a career as a highly respected corporate lawyer in Seattle to an appointment by President George W. Bush to the federal bench.

Michael D. McKay, a former United States attorney who is active in Republican politics in Washington State, called Judge Robart a smart, thoughtful guy and very even-tempered.

Mr. Robart was one of Seattles leading trial lawyers and the head of the law firm Lane Powell when he was selected to join the federal bench. While in private practice, he was admitted to the American College of Trial Lawyers, a prestigious, invitation-only group known for its rigorous vetting.

During Senate confirmation proceedings, Mr. Robart was praised for his exceptional qualifications by Senator Orrin G. Hatch, Republican of Utah, then the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Unlike tRump who lacks all three characteristics. He's not intelligent, not at all thoughtful, and hardly even-tempered. No, he's mentally ill and has anger management issues, knows nothing about anything and doesn't even read, and lets Bannon do his thinking for him.
