An email from my elderly mom the week after the pResident was installed:

Just wondered how you were doing since the liar was in inaugurated Friday. I hope he gets impeached.

I know, it's not great lit or anything, I've kept it in my inbox and reread it now and then. For some reason it just makes me smile.

Also, she said yesterday that even my self-proclaimed "staunch Republican" sister was talking about how much she can't stand Trump. Our parents are "staunch Democrats," so both parties generally avoid talking politics when they're together, so this is an interesting development. The sentiment is a little late, considering I'm pretty sure that sister voted for "the liar," but hey, better late than never.
