No one will be out in the street protesting. No one will loose their insurance (though some might loose money on bets). No one will be stuck at the airport.

Some of us didn't even watch the game - gasp!

But election night was crushing. I won't carry that kind of anxiety over the game. Even if my Eagles blew it, I would not.

And realize that the Patriots made an incredible comeback. Beyond incredible. They deserve to win if they do it.

It doesn't mean anything. It's not an omen of anything. It's just a fucking football game, about which millions of people (like me) care nothing at all.

The ads will have much more impact than any stupid football game.

And Google how involved Belichick is in charitable efforts, with his own money. This insane Patriots hate is insane. Any white nationalist loving the Patriots for some unknown reason missed that the people who won the game for the team were a Black rookie reciever, two Black pass catching running backs, a Jewish reciever who made a spectacular catch, a White quarterback and an offensive line that has two Black linemen in it - all says diversity to me.

It's the Patriots. They've been in everyone's face for 15 years, and the hatred runs deep. So any excuse to jump on them - be it alleged cheating, or friendship (at best) with Trump, is a good excuse to have the vapors. Well, pull up the fainting couches, because the Pats ain't going anywhere anytime soon.
