(36,449 posts)I've got an independently owned cafe a whopping four minute walk away. They espresso is cheaper then Starbucks, and far better.

(2,535 posts)I was always a Folgers drinker and for a while, I was forced to drink "cowboy" coffee. Not quite as bad a "Chester coffee but it was still strong, damn near like syrup.
I gave up coffee because I was quitting smoking and if I did one, I had to do the other and I wanted to quite smoking.

Not the best coffee, but nice atmosphere and wi-fi.
Not many independent shops around here. Things like "Cops and Donuts" shops(real name) are worse.
Years ago I visited Dublin and loved the coffee shops. Long tables, not good for those that want to be alone and not talk to strangers. Seemed such a great way to meet new folks.
