Starbucks has driven too many out of business.

I've got an independently owned cafe a whopping four minute walk away. They espresso is cheaper then Starbucks, and far better.

I like their (very sugary and fattening) mocha frappucinos in hot weather, though.

I was always a Folgers drinker and for a while, I was forced to drink "cowboy" coffee. Not quite as bad a "Chester coffee but it was still strong, damn near like syrup.

I gave up coffee because I was quitting smoking and if I did one, I had to do the other and I wanted to quite smoking.

Unfortunately, I don't drink that shit. Now, if you were to suggest we all run out and buy a fifth of Jim Beam or Southern Comfort or Sailor Jerry, I'm fucking in!

and drizzled with caramel and chocolate. I'm in it for the dessert aspect as you can probably tell.

If it's real coffee I'm after, then I want it made with chicory (yes, I realize the irony in calling it "real&quot .

I've doubled it to two times.

Not the best coffee, but nice atmosphere and wi-fi.

Not many independent shops around here. Things like "Cops and Donuts" shops(real name) are worse.

Years ago I visited Dublin and loved the coffee shops. Long tables, not good for those that want to be alone and not talk to strangers. Seemed such a great way to meet new folks.
