(111,305 posts)They learned well from the Germans who set up that brewery and haven't cut corners since then.
My favorite back east was Narragansett porter. Lagers were OK but I liked the darker brews better.
When even small amounts of alcohol started to trigger migraines, beer was the only thing I missed.

(2,795 posts)Good grief, that commercial was great. It was a German guy who came to America and helped create one of the most loved beers of all times. I don't like budweiser but it's been an iconic beer for decades and decades.
Pretty soon the deplorables will boycott themselves out of so much enjoyment of life. They'll be stuck shopping at Walmart, eating only Chik-fil-a only listening to Toby Keith and Lee Greenwood music. Those McCafe's don't taste like a cafe latte from Starbucks
