Snowden as "Gift" . . . Cloak and Dagger Smoke and Mirrors?

I'm thinking this whole thing is Trumped up "deal" to get cover for dropping sanctions.

Of course, that's how MangoMongo could play it. Putin would already be three moves ahead of HampsterHair.

What are your thoughts? Why turn him over?

Trying to cause disruption. Imagine the media circus and disagreement a Snowden trial will cause. It would damage the ALCU, which lately have stood strong against Trump, but who would defend Snowden on Freedom of Speech grounds. Putin is no idiot.
