Corker: Trump Was Ready To Move Israeli Embassy To Jerusalem Day One

Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) says that when he met with President Donald Trump in November to discuss the secretary of state position, Trump's team was committed to moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.

"They were ready to move the embassy at 12:01 on Jan. 20, maybe 12 and 30 seconds,” Corker told Politico in an interview published Monday morning. “That was going to be their first move.”

Trump's team signaled as much in December. Moving the embassy to Jerusalem would likely result in backlash from Palestinians given that the city has sacred meaning for both Israelis and Palestinians.

Corker told Politico that there is still a chance Trump will move the embassy. "My sense is, they’re probably still moving there," he said.

The Republican senator described Trump's foreign policy approach as a "wrecking ball." He said that Trump will have to decide just how much he would like to stray from Republican foreign policy.

A wrecking ball is correct. BLOTUS doesn't seem to understand one teeny tiny bit of geopolitics and the repercussions. The fact he can't just arbitrarily move an Embassy, 'cause he wanna do what ever the child on the sugar rush in a china shop "forgien policy."
