The GOP has nothing to offer on any issue except complete shithead ideas. Nothing they want works and in fact what they want is either racist, bigoted, misogynistic, stupid, exploitive or dangerous. They have ideas that do not even merit recognition much less debate or discussion. In fact some ideas should be be thought of they are so damned horrible.

So I do not know how we ever come together with them on any level. And I hate to be so vocal and blunt but we know the truth.

... "shut up and go along with everything we want."

Dem legislators need to grow the backbones to simply say, in public, that they consider the GOP rhetoric and proposals wholly below their souls, and that there is no "bipartisanship" to be had when nothing in a proposal is acceptable. Then, they need to say it proudly and often.

For their disgraceful behavior over the past ~25 years, the Republican Party should have been unceremoniously tossed onto the trash heap of history rather than rewarded with the keys to the kingdom.
