Trump Tried & Failed to Pull His Strange Trademark Handshake on Justin Trudeau.

Trump has deployed his strange handshake—which involves him yanking the other person’s arm and shaking it for a several beats longer than expected—in public meetings with Vice President Mike Pence, Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch and, most recently, on Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Which is to say Trudeau was warned.

In video of their meeting, you can see Trump attempt the move on Trudeau and Trudeau resist the pull by pulling back until their handshake is stabilized.

and I imagine he'll call Trudeau out for speaking French, among other things, dancing around calling him effeminate for not allowing his shoulder to be wrenched by Orange Caligula's "manly man" handshake.

I have a feeling Trudeau will be waiting up for it and will get a huge laugh out of it.

You could tell Abe was uncomfortable, and his epic eye roll at the end was pretty revealing.

And his "There's a sucker born ..."? He never said it. My jaw dropped when I found this out. He evidently work for women's rights, abolition, and other classically progressive causes of the time.

Here's the review I read.

That's not the way to offer your hand for a shake.
I noticed just how he tried to pull him toward himself and Trudeau pulled back. Good for him!

A wedding that took place on a public beach in Tofino, B.C., earlier this week had a very high-profile and unexpected guest — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Wedding photographer Marnie Recker snapped a photo of the prime minister standing in the background just as the bride was making her way down the aisle.

She says Trudeau was departing the beach when he realized he had stumbled into the path of a wedding procession, as the bride was walking down the aisle.

"It was her moment and he respectfully stood aside and witnessed her walk down the aisle to her husband-to-be," wrote Recker on her Facebook page.
