A war with Iran?

I'm sure everyone has heard that Bannon wants a war with either China or Iran. I've always understood that Iran and Russia were business partners.

So, I'm trying to figure out, why our Russian puppet govt would allow us in Iran. What am I missing? Is it control of the strait ? Anyone have some links, or info for me to start my studying ?

Maybe, President Obama will have a DU name and explain to us.

Which would be a war crime, but hey. Just stealing Iran for Rosneft, via Exxon, is a new piece on the map. I would have thought , back to Iraq we go, unless we already nailed all that oil down.

Lovely...,

I think this was just after the phone call with putin .

So i can't see how there would be a war with Iran.

I just couldn't understand this line of thinking.

Hard to keep up with a bunch of emotionally stagnated individuals.

If we attack Iran, Russia will help Iran behind our back as Iran bleed us out. Russia has not forgot what we did to them in Afghanistan during the eighties, they want to punish us as much as possible.

that doesn't mean that they aren't advising the US to attack Iran.

While short of war some military actions like naval confrontations or punitive bombings would be in Russia interest for the US to attack Iran. For that reason Russia might be publicly against it they might be urging the President to attack 'to show muscle' and keep Iran off base.

An attack on Iran would help Russia in the following ways:

1) Create division in the Western Alliance
2) Strengthen Iranian/Russian relations
3) Stop the US/Iranian thaw
4) Create uncertainty about safety of tanker travel in the Straits of Hormuz which would significantly increase price of Oil, something that Russia desperately needs.

global superpower. A war between the US and Iran would certainly accomplish that. I don't believe for a second Putin gives 2 shits about his business dealings with Iran. His potential power/profit is much greater with US/NATO/UN all destroyed.

Iran has been in the gunsights of the right-wing for a long time. Looks like 45 is taking up where 43 left off.
