the absolute master of these techniques was Ed Koch. Yes, that Ed Koch, not an oil guy.

I used to throw things at the wall when he was asked a tough question and smiled his way through answering a completely different question. All politicians have to know how to do it to some extent, but Conway and Koch could give classes.

The video lays out the techniques she uses to deceive and to dodge and weave around the questions she is asked. But it concludes by saying the news shows KNOW HOW SHE OPERATES. You cannot get a straight answer out of her so why book her on the show? There is no good reason. So as a service to its viewers who are expecting honesty and accurate information, they should make it a practice to cease inviting her on air or for published interviews.

They have a database of things to say based on keywords. No matter what context you use the keyword in, it seizes upon that and begins talking (on its own terms) about that subject. It gives the illusion of intelligence in that it seems to understand what you were saying and seemingly responding to it, going off on its own tangent, but it's really just babbling on randomly based on word recognition.

Nellycan Konway isn't even listening to the question. She's waiting for a keyword for which she can trigger a mile-a-minute monologue praising the administration or deriding its opponents.
