Okay - I ADMIT IT!

I LOVE a good prime-time soap opera, and what's happening right now has all the elements of the perfect soap opera plot.

We have the cast of characters involved in intriguing story lines: the whack-a-doodle president, the disgraced national security advisor, the spectre of potential blackmail, the overriding question of who-knew-what-and-when.

Thrown into the mix: a Republican party torn between defending their boy in the WH and throwing him under the bus in hopes of saving the party’s ass before the midterms, an MSM that is realizing that being anti-Trump is more popular than being pro-Trump, and a populace that craves every salacious detail of a scandal-in-the-making.

It’s time to curl-up in your favourite bathrobe, throw some popcorn in the microwave, pour yourself a drink or two and/or fire-up the bong.

We are living in interesting times, my friends – and I, for one, am settling-in for the season closer of Dallas/Dynasty/Knott’s Landing/Falcon Crest/Dallas/Trump pResidency, et al.

What will the GOP say?

Will they expose "president" Trump as "the evil twin" of the man they thought they were supporting all along?

Will a "mysterious stranger" suddenly show up in town, armed with information about the usurper's shady past?

Tune-in tomorrow to find out!

Popcorn is hard for me to digest it gives me...well so does Trump, his inner circle, Republicans, Trump voters and defenders, relatives who voted for Trump get a special category.

I wish I liked air popped popcorn but it's just too dry and styrofoam-like for me.

and I have to have plenty of butter or palm oil based pseudo-butter (even better) on it.

Oh, and lots of salt!

Yeah, I know - not healthy but at my age I just don't care. I made it this far and I'm going to go out with a smile on my face.

and I hope all Americans are tuned in. The cast is absolutely horrid. Many of the scenes seem to be fit for an old 50s series. I hope it gets cancelled soon. I hear the ratings are terrible.

Not to mention nuclear danger.

than it is for those of us here in the US.

I do agree, that you couldn't make up a soap opera plot any more intriguing than this one--unless it also had a
sex scandal (which has yet to be confirmed)-- as part of it.

Stll, I am hoping for a short, one season, story over in 10 or less episodes. I don't want to see this drawn out.
I want Trump/Pence/Bannon/McConnell/Ryan GONE and gone FAST.
