HAHAHAHA
No, Putin apologist, Flynn was ousted for being caught following Trump and Pence's orders. And the house of cards will fall, even with Trump boosters taking Flynn's bullshit resignation as truth. The whole administration is a lie.

Oh I know, "proof" = Putin apologist and Trump supporter. Totally the same.

(62,276 posts)A direct contradiction to his original statement. If we can't know that nobody knew how can we know that he was ousted for lying to Pence? Read his tweets.
He contradicts himself from one tweet to the next. It's hilarious.

(9,033 posts)and that he admitted "we can't be sure"--where is the contradiction? A non-categorical statement and an opinion.

(10,173 posts).. In a normal scenario, that kind of information is a shocker for a new administration. Any white house counsel would immediately notify the President - unless it was common knowledge and confirmation of what they already knew.

In other words, Flynn wasnt fired for possibly having broken the law and/or lying, but because the media found out hed possibly broken the law and/or lied."
Looks like they are floating Petraeus as a replacement.
According to Brad Heath, investigating journalist for USA Today..."If Gen. Petraeus is selected as the new national security adviser, he will have to notify his probation officer within 72 hours."

(7,143 posts)Flynn was caught because the alphabet agencies record phone calls between U.S. citizens and Russian authorities. Greenwald bankrolled Snowden to "expose" this horrifying "secret" - without which we would know bupkis.
Dear Glenn: You cannot divide by zero. It's the fucking law.

(146,317 posts)Who cares what Glenn Greenwald thinks, frankly? How on Earth does he have any credibility at all? Why is anything that is excreted from his brain suitable for publication here or anywhere?
Glenn Greenwald may have fooled some people at some point. That should no longer be true on Democratic Underground. Enough of his excrement!

(62,276 posts)Fun times. He was barely anybody at the time.
Too bad Snowden chose him and not someone with more credibility. But Assange set that one up since Greenwald was a mouthpiece for Wikileaks at the time.

(146,317 posts)Fortunately, most of that heat was brought by people who are no longer on DU, for some reason or another.
Greenwald is another of those libertarian pretenders who were sucked up in the "left" of Putin and others who are not the left at all. We're paying for all that now, with another pretender, Trump, ensconced in the White House. More's the pity that we were not paying attention to the false siren calls of people so far left they were actually on the right.
I hope a lesson has been learned.

(55,445 posts)As usual, nobody is holding their breath for an apology or retraction... I do remember the old days when Greenwald was supposed to be about "adversarial journalism", and the fact that his $250 million blog did more deflection, denial and shade throwing than actual reporting on the biggest story so far of 2017 is pretty damning...
Note: I used to mention this stuff to Greenwald directly until he blocked me like the fucking coward he is...
