ReTrumplicans: "Working with Russia to defeat Hillary is PATRIOTIC"
If you have paid attention, or heard rightwing Hate Radio, watched Faux News, read anything from Breit-Fart, saw anything from wingnutty sites like Newxmax, etc., then you would know that for about 30 years now, T-baggers and CONservatives have been brainwashed to believe that the Democratic Party is more of a “threat” to America than Russia and Vladimir Putin.
That is why it is so easy to see why Flynn, the Trump camp and the ReTrumplican Party felt emboldened to go to Russia to help them defeat Hillary Clinton. See in their mind, collaborating with a murderous thug like Putin is “justified” to save the country from Democrats.
Let that sink in for a minute. A large percentage of the Republican Party thinks that working with a murderous totalitarian like Putin is “justified” if it prevents Democrats from winning political office.
Hell, in their hearts, a great deal of these ReTrumplicans see the collaboration with Russia as “patriotic”, because it helped defeat Democrats.
Let “that” sink in for a minute.
And let me, for a moment; hold the media in contempt as well. They have been so brow-beaten into normalizing the treason coming from the ReTrumplican Party. They have a great deal to answer for. They are so afraid of the knee-jerk “liberal media” charge, that they have gone out of their way to defend the indefensible, and normalize the abnormal.
It will be interesting to see how the media covers this. My guess is it will go something like this:
FACT: ReTrumplicans were collaborating with a murderous totalitarian to help them win and maintain political power.
FACT: ReTrumplicans see the Democratic Party as a bigger threat to America than fascist, murderous Vladimir Putin.
MEDIA SPIN: “What is wrong with the Democratic Party?
