I don't post a lot on DU although I'm on here daily reading, perusing, etc. So I don't receive very many hearts which doesn't bother me at all. But I always buy 25 hearts to distribute to others who either do not have any or very few.
All I ask in return is tell me something POSITIVE about your day today. Something good. Spread some cheer or love. (We could use it right now couldn't we?)
And GO! I'll be happy to give out hearts until they are all gone.

(2,125 posts)My husband and I have lived together in 3 countries, traveled on 5 continents and through thick and thin have managed to hold on.
It has been a sunny day here in Copenhagen - in fact, we have had a few sunny days lately. There are vestiges of what was light snow on the ground, but the roads are clear.
Hope everyone has a bright day today!!

(7,963 posts)I woke up and got a beautiful Valentine's day card from my daughter AND we made it to school early--without me repeating myself a 100 times and screaming and hollering. If you have young kids, you would know how awesome this is. It has been a good morning!

(4,742 posts)Never was much of a problem with either getting them up in the AM. (18 and 12 now.) But it does seem they develope stomach issues and need picked up when I'm slammed at work. LOL.
A heart for you for being a great parent!

(8,303 posts)This is a happy one for me. Last year my husband had a serious health crisis, and I might not have had him for this day. But he's not only alive and improving, they saved his vision!!!
Wish I could send some happiness sparkles your way.

(12,392 posts)share with others, but just wanted to thank you for being sweet ! Years ago when I was brand new (under a different username), I was thrilled to get a valentine here from someone. It made me feel part of the gang, even though a little embarrassed to admit that I wanted one. 😂
Good job and nice to hear happy stories! xxx

(2,404 posts)I have posted a lot (four me) this last couple of weeks to help deal with frustration over what is happening with our country.
Mostly I just read. It helps to know there are intelligent people in the fight.
Also, it is my guinea pig's birthday today. He is four.

(3,818 posts)I don't get many either and I already gave out all 25 of mine or I'd give one to you. I will remember you for next year though. Totally surprised that I got four myself this year, so no need to give one to me. Something positive? Well, today is my day off so I'm getting some things done. That always feels good. Happy Valentine's Day to you too.

Guess she liked it!

(4,673 posts)Got results from tests and scans. Seems chemo was effective in halting my cancer destruction. I now have maintenance chemo (much reduced) which is keeping me right now at intermission.
So grateful!
