The Flynn Affair Shows How Dysfunctional Govt. Is. & How Corrupt/Criminal GOP Is.

With GOP in control complete lawlessness is alive in Congress. We are finding our how bad the GOP is. They are crooks and liars beyond any imagination. And the GOP has destroyed so much already. This country cannot be a decent place over time unless we can stop them.

And it is so much more than Trump. The entire delegation in the GOP controlled Congress is a swamp.

The racial hatred is so bad with GOPPERS they are willing to kill the country. It is a form of insanity that seems insatiable. We have a very strong constituency in the country that is neoNazi. These RW Christians are the most tyrannical of all. And many of their leaders have a direct line to Trump.

I just talked yesterday to someone who explained to me about all the paid protesters who are causing the problems. When I mentioned that our church group had been protesting numerous times already this year, I asked who exactly was paying. He mumbled something about reading it on the internet.

I can imagine that Trump voters will put this down to a liberal media conspiracy to attack Trump.

I used to interview for a living at DOL at the now defunct Employment Service. You learn over time how to do a forensic interview that gets down to the core of motivations. Any time I listen to a GOPPER or Trump voter I can tell that no matter what excuse they make their primary decision is based on racial hatred. The Southern strategy has been so pervasive it has poisoned ou politics and our country and even warped reality.

It does not take long that if I ask the question in the right way, the answer is very clear. The trouble is that the seed of hatred is so deep that I see no way to remove it.

The beef I hear is that the government has given ALL the money and advantages to minorities. It is a zero sum game to these people. ANYTHING you give to another takes away from them. The GOP continues to play the racial hatred tune with Fox following up. The GOPPERS speak in code all the time. It is like a drum beat in the background no matter what the over laying message is. And I do not know how we break that.

The trouble is that the Reagan and the GOP with business allies have been the ones who took away and outsourced all the jobs. And they are the ones who are suppressing wages and benefits for working people.

A country that was founded on slavery is still fighting a civil war that ended 150 years ago. Almost as if the original injustice has poisoned the ground. Perhaps a validation of the legal maxim that speaks of "fruit of the poisoned vine"?

As to coded language, Trump is obviously encouraging his followers to speak openly about their feelings.

The goal is a GOP White Supremacist Radical Christian Dictatorial Theocracy. If you look at who is in place and where. And you listen to the rumblings in so many red states you get theocracy. We have people we will not ever be able to live with. They are like the "Borg" of Star Trek.

Super Christian politicians are in all across the country. Look at proposed legislation coming up right now.

When high rates of unionization made for a well paid workforce, the race issue was submerged because in general workers enjoyed a decent standard of living. But after Reagan re-ignited the class warfare wages and benefits came under attack and economic inequality soared.

So workers needed someone to blame. Politicians gave them non-whites, union members, loud women, liberals, college educated liberals, city dwellers, and assorted others to blame.

There was always an undercurrent of racism in the blue collar class. And the GOP exploited it to get union members to vote for them even though they said they would destroy unions.

And some unions, my own among them, maintained separate branches. (I am an NALC, National Association of Letter Carriers, retiree.)

Part of it was racism, but based on union stewards I know some of it was about guns and religion.
