(146,317 posts)His fortunes are temporal. Given his appearance of poor health and inactive lifestyle, I think he is unlikely to live long enough to realize any fruits from his current activities. He is "building up riches on Earth," to quote the Christian scripture. He will not live to enjoy them, however, just like every other human being.
He is a foolish, foolish old man. I recognize that, because I am about the same age. He's wasting the last years of his life. I hope he dodders on long enough to gain a full realization of his folly and to deeply regret it. That is my wish for Donald Trump.

(82,849 posts)Remember how Secretary Clinton kept being vindicated because there wasn't any evidence of wrongdoing? Remember, too, how the popular media kept any "scandal" story alive by saying, "Yes, Clinton slipped away again, just because she didn't do anything wrong, but questions linger." Those lingering questions made sure that FBI Director Comey's disingenuous and unprecedented disclosures of ongoing investigations by the FBI became explosive headlines, even when nothing new had come out.
Now questions are lingering around President Trump. Trump flip-flops on China policy, and when he finally lands on the position the Chinese like, he gets a pat on the wallet. The questions, they might linger at last.
