First lady Melania Trump said Tuesday the always-popular free public tours of the White House will resume in three weeks, on March 7.

The tours had been suspended during the transition to the Trump administration, but the suspension has lasted longer than usual. That provoked some dismay in Congress, where members were questioning what was taking so long, including U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who tweeted about it Sunday ...

I've paid that woman dust since she went birther on President Obama during an interview on the View back in 2011. She thought her birth certificate was more legitimate than the President's was. I didn't hear Melania speaking up for FLOTUS Obama did you? Michelle's been disparaged and called "uppity" because she's college educated, intelligent, well-spoken and she was also constantly excoriated for having the nerve to wear sleeveless dresses--was called everything but a child of God by those on the right, and those same fools talking about Michelle in disparaging ways at the same time said that Melania's a beautiful, fine and elegant first lady ( I know what that's all about though). Uh huh, I guess posing nude up against an airplane holding a gun and with everything hanging out AND doing girl on girl soft porn is the true definition of being a "lady."

I'm guessing President Trump couldn't figure out a way to monetize the tours and refused to allow them until he had exhausted every avenue for further lining his pockets. Still doesn't explain why the tours won't resume for another three weeks. Odd that the Third Lady is the one announcing this; it's not like the tours are going to inconvenience her in any way, comfortably ensconced in Manhattan on the taxpayer's dime.
