Will all this "scandal" in the White House...?

...slow down the Republican agenda?

Actually, very few bills are getting passed. Except for a bunch of EOs (executive orders), and some of those will require funding from the Congress, such as The Wall.

But, they will not let a little scandal deter them from their appointed duty to relieve the stress and pressures of heavy taxes on the very wealthy. We will know them by manner in which they pass their legislation.

Democrats should keep their feet to the fire.

Every second they spend worrying about self-preservation is one less second devoted to implementing their horrendous agenda.

3. An unconfirmed anecdote from a Facebook acquaintance

The acquaintance was re-posting something a Mennonite pastor had put online about going to one of Sen. Toomey's branch offices in Pennsylvania. The pastor had some petitions or was with a group that wanted to give Toomey a message. The person staffing the office said that the amount and duration of citizen contact since Trump's inauguration had just been unprecedented, and the staffer said that Toomey was likewise frustrated by all the interruptions and diversions created by the administration.

The staffer also mentioned the executive orders, which was something Toomey resented President Obama for. Unmentioned in the post was any reference to the fact that Obama used executive orders rather sparingly, and then only when Congress failed or refused to take any action on vital matters. Trump uses executive orders like bad managers use office memos to boss the staff around and micromanage their work. Trump hasn't tried to work with Congress at all.

As I say, all anecdotal, but I can certainly understand how frustrating it must be for Republicans to have all this power nearly in their grasp, but because Trump is such a political maladroit, they keep getting caucus-blocked and unable to penetrate the body politic with their agenda.
