We record all phone conversations of FOREIGN government officials (for all governments, friendly or not)... Flynn was just the party on the other end, who, btw, should have FUCKING KNOWN that we do this (given his previous jobs). I think he DID know it and just didn't care, figuring that once in office, Trump would squash any and all reports of wrongdoing (like firing some holdover acting AG for example).
