Now is the time for all patriots to come to the aid of their country. Don't freak out, because it may get worse before it gets better. Maintain a calm abiding mind, because you are more effective and make better choices when you are calm, than when you get freaked out. Don't fall into despair, depression, and indifference. Trump and his ilk are moral midgets, liars and hypocrites. It is what it is. We need every sane and moral person to calmly look these evil people in the face and say "No!" We need to stay clear and calm, as we organize and resist to overcome their greed, stupidity, and meanness of spirit. We can do this. Yes we can!

I just happen to have an occasionally dark sense of humor!

After Trump was elected, I had some serious suicidal thoughts. Also when I went into the hospital in early 2016 with heart failure. So I know the experience of deep despair. Fortunately I was able to gain a different viewpoint. We don't know what the future will bring, happiness or pain and disappoint. But whatever it is, it won't last forever. All we have is today, our body, and our mind. Keeping a clear and calm abiding mind is the most effective way to deal with whatever is before us today. One foot in front of the other. It's a stoic perspective that I share in hope that it helps others overwhelmed by stress and negative emotions.

Cheers
