TRENTON -- There was "zero" talk about Gov. Chris Christie being considered for a job in President Donald Trump's administration when the two met at the White House on Tuesday for lunch, according to a report by CNN.
The White House announced after the hour-long sit down that the discussion centered on "combating drug use" in the U.S.
CNN, citing an unnamed senior aide in the administration, said none of the conversation centered on Christie being considered for a job in the White House.

"There was zero, I repeat zero, conversation about that," the aide told the cable news network. "The only thing he may do is head up a commission to investigate the opioid crisis."

familiar with the situation told NJ Advance Media it's not out of the realm of the realm of possibility that Christie could head a federal commission tackling the epidemic. But the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, couldn't immediately confirm whether the specifics of such a role were discussed.
Christie, a fellow Republican and longtime Trump friend and confidant, and his wife, Mary Pat Christie, met with Trump around 12:30 p.m.
The focus on fighting drug addiction was not a surprise. Christie has made that a central part of his platform for years and has said he would devote his final year as New Jersey's governor to the issue. Two sources also told NJ Advance Media this week that while the meeting's discussion was likely to be broad, battling drug use was expected to be a major topic.

I wonder if he got his gastric sleeve removed. He probably thought there was no point in dieting if he wasn't going to be President, VP or at least AG. He looks as big as he's ever been.

Hi
Folks Chris here !

I can't tell the secret juicy stuff about lunch at the white house today ,in fact my friend Donald told me mum's the word even if I have to stuff my mouth with Oreo cookies ,keep it clam tight shut.

I will however confess ,I was worried my poll ratings would drop below 9 % before Donald would get around to dropping a line into me.
It all happened so fast !

What I can tell you is this, I am in the swing of things even though I hate golf ,Pence and the George Washington bridge.

And don't nobody ask me about the Flynn Flam because mum's the word.

7. Chris Christie is the Zack Mayo of the Trump administration

If you've seen the movie "An Officer and A Gentleman," Richard Gere plays Zack Mayo, who wants to be a naval aviator. His instructor, played by Lou Gossett, Jr., tries to break him after he catches him cutting corners in training. After abusing him for most of a weekend that the other trainees had off for liberty, Sgt. Foley tells Mayo he's dropping him from the program if Mayo won't do it voluntarily.

Mayo, completely broken by this point, screams at Foley that he'd better not cut him from the program, tearfully sobbing that he's got nowhere else to go. Practically nothing about Mayo's story applies to Gov. Christie (for obvious reasons), except one: He's got nowhere else to go.
