Could Trump be setting up an insanity defense as a way out of the Russian mess

and the presidency?

A few more pressers like this and he may just pull it off.

What are your opinions? :

Fake insanity?
Real insanity?
A bit from column A and a bit from column B?

I don't know if it is a "personality disorder" or the onset of some form of dementia. I do know that he is utterly unfit for office.

if it would help him. Nothing would shock me now.

If an alien were to burst from his chest and devour Spicer on live TV, I would think 'Yup... That explains it'.

and doing that would tarnish his "brand".

If he had to go out, he would find some other excuse - maybe a fake one about "spending more time with his family (and businesses)" or some other nonsense.

He is what you see. I (yikes) had MSNBC on about an hour ago and saw Roland Martin of TV One on and he basically said that he will never change - he is what he is. And he noted the media keep expecting things to go back to normal but they will not.

45 is energized by press and public events where he can be the center of attention. He may not sleep until Saturday morning.
