Upheld Or Held Up?.....
I read most all of the ACA unlike most of Congress. If one reads the whole Act one gets why it has to be so many pages. We're talking about a health system in this country that is really complicated and all encompassing. It could not be short cutted in any way and still address all the areas that it touches. My opinion is that anyone that reads it or even looks at the Table of Contents would realize that. The Repugs criticized it because it is over 2000 pages long. An Act that addresses such a system could not be treated in any less pages and still make sense out of it. It was well thought out and well structured. I believe that if the Justices of SCOTUS read the whole Act that they couldn't rule any other way but to uphold it in total.
Obama did the right thing here for this country. In my opinion it was ingenious to have some of the important aspects of it engaged over the past years since passed. They are critical elements that have the support of the American People.
I say SCOTUS will uphold.
I guess we'll find out in a few hours.
