An explanation: My logon name was created when DU first began, before Palm Springs became a vacation destination and hometown for liberals. Up until then it was pretty much a retirement community with an annual influx of snowbirds. DU won't let you change your name without losing your number of posts so here I am, an antiquity from an earlier age.
