John McCain and Lindsey Graham have been talking about things that lead up to dictatorships.

They mention threats against the judiciary and the media. And that is certainly true.

But you know what else happens in the lead up to dictatorships? People making up wild conspiracy theories in the aftermath of a tragedy like Benghazi.

The GOP saw that HRC had sky high poll numbers after she wrapped up her tenure as Secretary of State. They had to do something about that--by whatever means necessary. And they did.

McCain and Graham should be ashamed of themselves. Donald Trump is the monster that they created.

the White House. I think we are getting a taste of what it would have been like now that Donald Trump is in the White House.

The Tea Party was always going to happen and it wasn't really about anything McCain did. This is how Republicans react when the American people relieve them of power. They feel that it is their country, not ours.

Palin mainstreamed these elements in the GOP, there would've been no Tea Party if Hillary was elected in 2008. There would've been a minor backlash like in the 90s, but the politicians would've been more gingrich types than cruz types, they would still have been willing to work with the dems rather than being 100% obstructionists.

then it would have been under Clinton.

But it would have been bad under Clinton or Edwards too. Every time the GOP loses power their reaction to the loss gets worse and worse.
