Pence is out there today saying that he is happy with tRUMP's decision to have Flynn resign, because Flynn did not tell Pence about his conversations with Russia about sanctions, and Pence feels that it was a good decision that tRUMP asked for Flynn's resignation. But, why isn't there even reporter asking Pence, "Well, how do you feel that the President, not just Flynn, but the President also kept you in the dark regarding this matter?!"

(7,433 posts)Pence knew about Flynn's behavior long before it became public. Pence KNEW about Russia's influence at least during last summer. That's established fact. He was also told that Flynn was calling the Ambassador well before Flynn was outed. Now, are we to really believe that Mr. Undertaker is THAT dim witted? It's not natural that he wouldn't know. Besides, Trumpy is NOT a compartmentalist kind of manager. He's chaotic and has no boundaries. Why would he establish boundaries in this special instance? HE WOULDN'T.
Pence reasons things this way, and this is seen by his recent public statements: he'll lie until he HAS to tell the truth. Then he'll walk everything back, or he'll start adding qualifiers to his previous lie. ONLY if Pence is about to be called out for lying will he equivocate and bend toward a truthful statement. But until then, he's a bald-faced liar.

(7,135 posts)I want to shout WHO CARES? everytime they bring up what Flynn did or did not tell Pence. It's a complete red herring.
The real scandal is, what was Flynn promising the Russians that was so sensitive and incriminating that it was shrouded in secrecy?
