The Trump supporters are probably lining-up for field-hand work - because according to them, the "illegals" were stealing all the good-paying jobs. Now they'll be able to get those fat paycheques for themselves.

any undocumented's here. When the crops ripened in the fields, the farmers tried everywhere to find people to harvest all that food. NOBODY WANTED THE JOB! And you're right, everything rotted in the fields. That was the last year the Governor did that. I'm sure the same thing will happen nationwide if the Con insists on his radical deportation plan.

And make them ineligible for benefits or overtime, and paid below minimum wage. Give them a week and they'd be chanting "F**K that wall!!" and "Bring them back!!"

Well, he didn't bring them back he just made them available to all those good folks in the rust belt. The out of work coal miners are also welcome to apply. You know that myth about its only POC on welfare? The repubs were happily looking forward to seeing them back in the fields. Imagine their surprise when the see it's mostly white folks. Actually, they'll be mostly red by the time they get done picking. Hot and sunny in the fields.

It's LONG past time to accomplish this.

Perhaps if the crops aren't being harvested our elected Congress critters will have to get off their butts and pass some good legislation that will enable foreign workers to legally come into our nation and do such work.

That legislation should be well written and provide protection for such foreign workers to insure that they are not mistreated by their employers and they receive fair wages. Of course such workers would no longer fear deportation if they contact the police when they are victims of crime.

If that happens our nation will be a better place for all.
