APR 15: Trump Tax Day Protest - Norfolk, VA
Sat Apr 15th 12:00pm - 3:00pm
NationwideNorfolkTax-MarchVirginiaMarchVA
200 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23510, USA map
The election may be over, but the question remains: what is Donald Trump hiding in his tax returns? Trump has declared that the American people "don't care" about his tax returns. It's time to show him otherwise. Activists across the country will be rallying on Tax Day, calling on Donald Trump to act transparently and release his tax returns. This march isnt just about papers its about economic justice. Its also about whether Donald Trump and the rest of the super-rich are paying their fair share. Its about how beholden our government - and our president in particular - are beholden to corporate interests. Join We The People on April 15th lets demand that Donald Trump show us his papers. This gathering will be outside the IRS offices in downtown Norfolk. Permits will be obtained. For questions or logistical concerns, message ForVirginia.org or Michael Brandon Wade. #TrumpTaxDay

(12,634 posts)and there's also an "activism" group, but if your state group's anything like mine, there's little or no interest shown there (or apparently on DU in general) in actually getting out and demonstrating.
I have been using these 2 sites to find activities in my state and there are PLENTY of them, but disappointingly, DU is more talk than action:
https://www.reddit.com/r/esist/
roll far down to "list of trump protest sites". also see list of town halls
https://www.resistancecalendar.org/
Once you hook up with a group or 2, you'll be notified of activities. Enjoy! Resist!
