Republicans Are The Kind Of People You Would Leave In The Wilderness During Emergency -----

because they would be a threat to the survival of the rest of the party. GOPPERS exhibit all the qualities of someone you would NOT want to be stranded with. That is because they only think of themselves and they would easily sacrifice everone else so they survive.

He thought it was funny and got some laughs...a long time ago...but he hasn't changed, I'm sure. Another, docs wife, at a dinner party, said she didnt think people on welfare should be able to vote, and she was tired of paying taxes for people who were poor cause they wouldnt work (she didnt work, other than occasionally going in and raising hell with the staff of his office, so many people told me). I said, don't worry, most don't vote anyway. She said, no, that's why we have all of these liberal judges. It started a lively discussion. Clearly, she was an outlier. Her husband called a lawyer friend the next day about trying to get her money back on a mink coat she thought wasn't quality, and the husband said he couldn't stand to see his wife in so much pain over the coat. Mrs, Empathy.

I do know some Repubs who have done good deeds though. They usually believe the good have money because they earned it somehow (including by having the right parents ot brother)...like DT putting all of the billionaires in his cabinet.

I worked for a welfare to work program in the 1970's. Of course some people do not want to work. They are really called Republicans.

Seriously, the problem is having enough jobs that pay a living wage. We are way short of those jobs and the existing ones are becoming extinct. I do believe if the work is there and pays decent people will work. People at the welfare level are so far below the surface of the water they need a lot of help to get to the surface. Deep poverty causes psychological despair that has to be worked with as well.

For the poor, one problem leads to another. Snowball effect. The junk car won't start. Late to work. Dinged on job Report. Fired. Bad job reference.
I like how you explained it, not being able to get to the surface.

I had a client who was a single parent, on call for casinos all night. She had to go when called, as that was all the income she had. She would leave kids when they called in the middle of the night w neighbors. Car usually didn’t work, so she would borrow or get rides, for which she was indebted, though some had been good to her. Often, unless the neighbors took the kids or she could get off work, she couldn’t get kids to school. Guy harassing her at work reports her to Child Protection, after threatening her for months. Of course, he denies. Ex w a violent criminal record wants kids, even though never came around. She got peanuts at job anyway. Obviously, better to get fired and get help for feeding kids.

Many rich think everyone B or H learn to milk the system, and they get benefits because of their color.
One woman was telling me, she couldnt get any help to clean her house and take her to the dr anymore, and she really needs it. She said "they" all think they should have office jobs these days, and they get $15 hr. I can't pay but minimum, and now they are going to raise the minimum wage on me. Not fair. Like involuntary servitude: They should have to work for me for what I offer. Of course, a trumpster. I said, well you want to deport and keep those immigrants out.
Blank look.
