Trump: Media shouldn't be ALLOWED to use sources unless named

Allowed? By whom? He's been building up to this, and he's finally said it. He wants to regulate the media (instead of regulations for public safety). From the transcript of his horrible speech at CPAC:

But I am only against the fake news, media or press. Fake, fake. They have to leave that word.

I'm against the people that make up stories and make up sources.

They shouldn't be allowed to use sources unless they use somebody's name. Let their name be put out there. Let their name be put out.

(APPLAUSE)

"A source says that Donald Trump is a horrible, horrible human being." Let 'em say it to my face.

(APPLAUSE)

Let there be no more sources
(snip)
And they shouldn't use sources. They should put the name of the person. You will see stories dry up like you've never seen before.

Washington Post

What can we make of this? There are many reasons why reporters use unnamed sources. The source very likely demands anonymity for fear of losing a job, or in extreme cases, fear of his or her own safety. Especially in Dump's case; his vindictiveness is well known and documented.

The rest of his CPAC speech was, as usual, how awesome he is, how horrible the media is, etc. ad nauseum.

Are also acting as unnamed sources. A cabinet secretary here and there.

Let's start by naming a few of those and see what happens.

The astounding thing is, I don't believe anything "Mr. Precedent" says to be factual, and his "sources" are often provable FAKE NEWS.

Most of the time he tells bald-faced lies with no sources, real or imagined!
