Would this help?

Equinox Moon posted about a depressing Democratic committee meeting. I composed this response but I now see that it's been self deleted. So I'll start a new post.

I'm a big fan of ItStarts.Today. This is an organization that collects monthly pledges in amounts that can be divided equally by 468. As of a week ago they had collected 300,000. Since this is for candidates in 2018 one can assume they will collect a lot more. What if your low energy Dems suddenly were handed a donation much bigger than they're used to? Would that trigger some activity on behalf of your candidate? Maybe get the word out that Dems live via stepped up PR?

Maybe yes, maybe no, but I do have visions of 15 Dems in Wyoming deciding to run a candidate and buy 5 times as much PR as normal and then other Dems coming out of the woodwork, maybe to build a critical mass, maybe to win in 2020.

What do you think?
