...that sounds very little like something he would actually say. Put another way, Trump read a speech that could have been drafted for Dubya, which does cause beltway hearts to swoon.

My take is that media is going to fall over itself trying to show it is fair and balanced by praising this pretty empty speech filled with platitudes and precious little policy detail simply because Trump managed not to stick his foot in his mouth and say something racist or obviously narcissistic.

But, Trump is still the man that he always was, and give him time, and he will blow things up again, because he is just a mean, vindictive cuss.
