Suck-ups
I was watching the MSNBC feed, in which the broadcast team maintained radio silence after the conclusion of the speech until Trump had left the chambers. So you could hear what was being said by the various congressmen who approached him to shake his hand. What a bunch of suck-ups! If I had any doubts that the Repug's will sit on their hands about the various investigations into Trump's malfeasances, those were quashed by the obsequiousness of the R's last night. I guess politicians are a special breed, who fall all over themselves to rub their bellies up against power.
Also noted by the commentators: Trump took much less time to enter and exit the room than is normal. My guess is that this is a natural byproduct of the guy's limited intelligence: he just doesn't have a whole lot to say, beyond the usual glad-handing palaver.
