At What Level Of Misreporting Do You Have To Stoop Before Your Public Walks Away

The misreporting gaffes that occurred today are inexcusable. What if they misreported a mass national emergency and people were killed, maimed or injured in an aftermath? What happened is totally a violation of their broadcast licenses. Perhaps they should lose them.

Is there any level of malfeasance or lying that would cause the viewers to shut these organizations off permanently from their homes? If not, then we are a much much sicker country than we even know.
